From humble beginnings in Kuala Lumpur, our founder the late Mr Yan, started this business with his ventures in Praise Enterprise and Eco Venture between 1980 to 1999. Envisioning a more sustainable business environment, He moved to Penang and embarked on the journey of penang packaging PE foam plastic raisin supplier, with just 5 employees and a truck. The company operated as a collection center for used materials and items, diligently scouring the local factories in Penang each day.

By January 1999, the late Mr Yan was joined by his two sons and thus was the beginnings of Yan Brothers Industries Sdn Bhd (Yanbisb). Mr Yan (Joshua), had by then completed his studies in economics in Tokyo Japan, and leveraging on his knowhow and network during his time there, YBI was able source for state of the art machinery and the latest recycling technology to revamp and modernise the business.
